This recently renovated home is located minutes from Owensboro’s many sports venues and the downtown riverfront entertainment district and only 15 minutes from Yellow Creek Park, site of the annual International Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s annual ROMP music festival.
It boasts four bedrooms (1-K, 1-Q, 2-T/T) on two floors to comfortably sleep 8, two full bathrooms (1-T/S, 1-S), a large fully equipped kitchen, a comfortable living room with gas fireplace, a dining room that can seat 6-10, and a basement with a TV area, a huge laundry area, and a ping pong table.
The large yard provides off street parking and plenty of room to relax. An enclosed front porch and a patio round out the space.
We were careful during the renovation to retain all of the original hardwood flooring and custom woodwork as well as the tiling and plasterwork. Updates such as LED lighting and stainless steel appliances alongside the mid century craftsmanship make for an instantly comfortable home during your time in Owensboro.
High speed WiFi and smart televisions allow you to enjoy your own streaming services. In keeping with our mid century origins, we can also receive local over-the-air broadcasts.

Lovely home. Very clean and the location was perfect for us. Hosts were very quick to respond to any question we had. But highly recommend.

The experience could not have been better! Beautiful original decor in this mid century home. Host was amazingly welcoming and friendly. The softest towels I have ever used, quality toilet paper (it mattters!) and a kitchen with pretty much everything you need for a meal, even some basic spices. It is on a busy road, but the house is quiet inside. Would definitely come back!

The house was as expected, outdoor dining and screened front porch were a plus with little ones. Property owners were wonderful to work with. We would definitely stay in this house again.

This home was absolutely wonderful and exceeded our expectations. It retains some original features, which added to its charm and character. Coming from the South, we had never experienced a basement before, and it quickly became our favorite space. It was both unique and inviting, and the ping pong table was a highlight—my husband and son played whenever they had the chance.The home was very clean and welcoming throughout. The screened-in front porch provided a relaxing spot to sit and watch the neighborhood, while the backyard patio was equally enjoyable and included a basketball goal. There was more than enough space for our group. Upstairs, there are two bedrooms with two beds in each, along with a full bathroom. The main floor features a comfortable master bedroom with a large, very cozy bed, an additional bedroom, another full bathroom, a living room, and a formal dining area.The basement includes a couch, loveseat, coffee table, ping pong table, and a washer and dryer—the dryer worked exceptionally well. Overall, we had a fantastic stay, and Mr. Chuck was an excellent host.
