Charming farmhouse built in the early 1900's.
Sleeps 8-10. This 3 bedroom farmhouse is all you need for a nice private, relaxing getaway in Gettysburg, PA.
Blue Room- 1 Queen Bed
Flower Room- 2 Double Beds
Yellow Room- 1 Queen Bed
Living Room- 1 queen sleeper sofa
Kitchen is fully functional with dishes, pots/pans, baking sheets, silverware, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, Coffee maker, crock pot, and blender.
Window unit air conditioning provided as well as cable, DVD player and TV. Books, games, and DVDs also available to borrow during your stay. We currently do not have wifi.- but take this time to enjoy the fresh air and rural scenery of our property and the battlefield.
Guests may enjoy our 'catch & release' pond and paddle boat, as well as cookouts on our charcoal grill.
Sheets are provided for the beds, however, we ask that you bring your own towels, toiletries, and food items.

Located practically right on East Calvary Field, (actually 2 of our fields was part of the battlefield location) Gettysburg, PA. Guests can enjoy 40 private acres of Adams County countryside. Enjoy Catch and Release Fishing in our pond and take nature walks. The house is located only approx. 5 miles from the square in Gettysburg. And only minutes from Rt. 30, Rt 116., Rt 97 and Rt 15, which provides easy access to all areas of town! Nearby grocery stores and outlets, as well as restaurants and pubs. Also several local wineries! Gettysburg has tons to offer in entertainment! From live theater shows to ghost tours, miniature golf and large scale golf!

Our family loved the fact that I was close to the battlefield, some of it right in your backyard, but far enough away from the majority of the town that you could relax and enjoy the time you were there. We had 4 children with us and they all enjoyed being able to run around outside and relax in the evenings. Great location, easy check in and plenty of room.

We genuinely loved our stay here - exploring the property and nearby monuments, quiet times spent out near the pond, making s’mores at the fire ring and watching for shooting stars in the evenings. The house is a largely intact 19th century farmhouse (with rustic barn and various out buildings) that charmed us from the moment we arrived for our three night stay. In fact, while Gettysburg has a lot of interesting things to do and see, we chose to spend as much time as we could on the property simply relaxing and enjoying ourselves.This place is a gem and we hope to make it a tradition for our family.

Beautiful property that forces one to step back and appreciate how beautiful nature is. The house is filled with character and charm. Highly recommend!

Overall the property was great and we enjoyed our stay. It was listed as having windows AC units and there were not any in the home. It was nearly 90 degrees over the weekend and became a bit too warm for us. We didn't receive a response from the host so we went out and purchased some box fans. Other than that, everything was as advertised. The kids loved the swing!
