Beautiful location and terrace, right on the beach. Lovely swimming pool but unheated and very cold so we didn’t venture in. Hotel is at the bottom of the mountain, with Vico Equense at the top , so be prepared to be dependent on the local bus or a long climb up some very steep uneven stairs if you want to get into town or the station. On one occasion when the bus wouldn’t have come early enough in the morning to allow us to make the train we needed to get to get to Pompeii in time for our tour one of the staff drove us there which was extremely kind and hugely appreciated.

It wasn’t a bad experience. The hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff helpful and generally friendly. However the set up was odd and the room badly designed (though again beautifully styled). There were only a couple of hangers and very little hanging space, the bathroom door was glass and see through so there was zero privacy. The room was divided in two for no clear reason so it made it feel smaller than it could have done with little space to lay out a case. There was no indoor hotel space other than our fairly small hotel room. Breakfast is taken on the terrace which is fine until it rains or the weather is cold, after which it’s not the most pleasant experience. There arent staff on site all the time so there’s chunks of the day where you can’t get any food or drink but they also ask you not to bring in outdoor food. We struggled with breakfast not being served until 8 as a lot of the time to allow us to get up to the town centre and catch the train in time for prearranged bookings we needed to leave early than this. The staff did their best to accommodate us but it felt a bit uncomfortable and we ended up just getting a quick coffee and crossiant that we had to eat in a mad rush. Also the worst bit for us was that despite prearranged plans and reassurances there was no staff there on the last morning of our stay to allow us to check out or help us with our bags. They kept saying they would be there in a minute and gave us no more information than that. They were not honest at all about what was going on, which added to our frustration. The exit to the road was also very flooded so without them we couldn’t get out and almost missed our flight. We arrived at the airport with only 45 minutes to spare.

The view is beautiful! The property is quiet as there are only 5 rooms, which we enjoyed. The room was very clean, spacious, and the shower was amazing. The breakfast was great. All the staff were very helpful, especially Angela. She made our stay better and helped us with any questions we had.

Nothing!! It can be challenging to travel outside the property but this has nothing to do with the property itself!

Staff are new and not experienced and not very accommodating, we rented three rooms, the top room the air-con was not working well, after lengthy email exchanges we eventually received a fan as requested.
