Welcome to Chez-Nous Äänekoski, a warm and welcoming wooden cottage located directly on the banks of a river in the heart of Central Finland. Accommodating up to 6 guests, it is an ideal place for couples, families and travellers who want to experience authentic Finnish nature in both summer and winter.

Here, you can wake up by the water, enjoy a traditional Finnish sauna, go fishing, take long walks in nature and, during winter, watch the Northern Lights directly from the garden.

Sauna, Hot Tub and Swimming in the River

The private sauna is included free of charge with your stay. After the sauna, you can try a truly Finnish experience by taking a dip directly in the river.

In summer, enjoy swimming in the river and relaxing on the chalet's small private beach. In winter, the more adventurous can experience the unforgettable thrill of ice-cold winter swimming.

An outdoor Finnish hot tub is also available for an additional charge. During winter, relax in wonderfully hot water surrounded by snow and, with a little luck, watch the Northern Lights directly from the hot tub.

Central Finland offers excellent opportunities to see the Northern Lights on clear, dark nights. They can sometimes be seen directly from the chalet garden, so you don't necessarily need to travel far to experience this magical phenomenon.

Fishing and River Activities

A rowing boat and fishing equipment are available free of charge for our guests.

During summer, take the boat out on the river and enjoy a peaceful day of fishing surrounded by Finnish nature.

In winter, discover ice fishing and experience the unique atmosphere of Finland's snow-covered landscapes.

Snowmobile Experience Directly at the Cottage

Would you like to try a typical Nordic winter activity? A snowmobile experience is available for an additional charge on our private land, ideal for those who would like to experience snowmobiling for fun.

You can enjoy the excitement of riding a snowmobile without having to travel far from the chalet.

Our Goats and Outdoor Life

Our goats are also part of the Chez-Nous experience. Children especially enjoy visiting them and discovering a little of Finnish countryside life.

Around the chalet, there is plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors and take long walks through nature throughout the year.

Plenty of Activities for Children

The cottage is particularly suitable for families.

Children can enjoy the trampoline, slide and games, while bicycles and scooters are also available for exploring the surrounding area.

During winter, we also provide ice skates, allowing you to enjoy outdoor skating areas or local ice rinks, depending on conditions.

Breakfast and Dinner

To make your stay even more relaxing, we also offer a food service.

Breakfast is served directly at the cottage, allowing you to start your morning peacefully without having to go anywhere.

A homemade dinner is also available on request, with a selection of dishes from our menu.
