It was private, quiet and comfortable. We never met anyone so can’t rate the staff but they were certainly professional and organized for easy check in and out. They always responded quickly to our messages. It was convenient for the train and for exploring the city.
The shower was very slippery because of the soap dispenser which leaked enough to leave a film.

The room itself is lovely. It's decorated to include stone that I imagine is old? The bed was exceptionally comfortable and honestly the best one we had traveling for 3 weeks in Italy. Bathroom and specifically the shower are also nice -shower is big! We stayed in La Spezia as many do to be near the train station to go to Cinque Terre so location was good in that respect. While I did not meet the hosts they provided great directions on getting the key and checking out.
The only down side was the noise - the street it is on is busy and we could hear traffic all night, especially motorcycles. Other reviews mentioned this but minimized the noise.

Both rooms were clean and exactly as expected. We stayed as a group of four, with two people in each room.
Eugene was a great host from beginning to end very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. I completely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

De kamer was heel proper en had alles wat wij nodig hadden.
Iets meer kastruimte had fijn geweest.
