Welcome to The Franklin House in Central Austin TX! The 6-bedrooms consist of 2 townhomes in a 3-unit DUPLEX. The entire property is freshly staged with brand new, high-end furniture. After a day of sightseeing in the city, a music festival, or a game at FC Austin, your group will enjoy with fully fenced outdoor area with grill, yard games and plenty of seating. Furnished with 6 queen beds, and 2 king beds, there is ample sleeping space for 16 guests!
The space
There will be 2 parking spaces available to you as well as two 1 car garages.
Here is the breakdown/layout of each individual unit:
Franklin A (2-stories)
Bedroom 1 (Downstairs) - King Bed, full bathroom next to, but not in, the bedroom.
Bedroom 2 (Upstairs) - King Bed
Bedroom 3 (Upstairs) - Queen Bed, Queen Bed
Bedroom 2 and 3 share a bathroom.
Franklin B (single story, downstairs)
Bedroom 1 - Queen Bed (private bathroom)
Bedroom 2 - Queen Bed
Bedroom 3 - Queen Bed, Queen Bed
Bedroom 2 and 3 share a bathroom.
This unit is part of a triplex and guests will have access to a shared driveway (2 spaces and a 2 garages)
Guest access
Guest will have access to both units during their stay.

It was a great place to stay and a solid location. I think that the listing is fair, but there are some minor things that are in a little need of upkeep or replacement. Overall everything was clean though and the minor things were like scuffed up walls or a broken lamp cable, which didn't really affect the overall stay. The hosts were very responsive and I'm sure would have taken care of anything major. The towels were soft and beds were comfy. I'm not sure how clear it is in the listing, but the two units aren't connected. It is just a short walk to the other side of the driveway to get from A to B though.

Loved it! I just wish there was easier access to both units. Because we had to walk all the way around the front of the house to get to the other unit.

While the property is listed as a duplex what it doesn't mention is that the listing is actually 2 halfs of the building that dont connect, and there are residents in a 3rd upstairs property, while there is enough parking our first night the residents cars took up most of the driveway and we could barley fit our second vehicle. The pool was only half full and dirty, there were gross stains that looked like old blood on one of the shower curtains, the shampoo and body wash were leaking down the side of one of the showers, it looked like it had been that way for a while because there was some soapscum build up around it. Other than that it was fine. While i didn't mind it i will probably be looking for a different place to stay next time im in Austin.
