First of all we didn’t actually end up staying at this apartment. We were contacted the previous day and advised there was a problem. We were offered to move to another flat nearby or a refund. We opted for the other apartment.
It was very central near the Riga market and central bus and rail stations which worked well for us. From the outside, the apartment didn’t look like much and the communal courtyard was a bit muddy. But the new flat was very clean and spacious in an old apartment block. I think it was a different style to the Duomo one from the pictures. It worked well for us as a family.
