We had a lovely stay overall. The property was cozy, the outdoor space was beautiful, and the hot tub was clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the fire pit, lake access, kayaks, trampoline, and swing. The location was great—close to South Haven, Lake Michigan, and a wonderful blueberry u-pick farm and shop. Local stores made it easy to pick up essentials, and the neighbors were kind and helpful.Communication was good. Before our stay, I reached out with a few questions, and the owner's son responded within about 24 hours and was very helpful while assisting due to a health issue affecting the owner.There were a few areas for improvement. The kitchen was somewhat limited for meal preparation, and some dishes appeared to have been put away dirty. We also ran out of toilet paper shortly after arrival. Some beds were missing pillows, sheets or comforters. More towels, blankets, and beach towels would be helpful. The lighting in the living room/kitchen area was a bit confusing. Clearer labeling of the address would make the property easier to find. There were little black weevils everywhere so maybe some bug barrier outside to keep them from entering would be helpful. Given the circumstances, we assume the owner's health issue may have affected how ready the property was for guests. Despite these minor inconveniences, we enjoyed our stay and wish the owner a speedy recovery.

Very nice home. Our family had a great time. Row boat leaked, and could not find the oars, but we still had a great time. Beds were comfortable, and scenery was great. Would definitely stay at this home again. Very relaxing.

This house was such a dreamThe property was beautiful the host was extremely nice and helped us with anything we had questions about, I highly recommend this property if you will be in the area ! The only thing I will say is the road to get to the house is a dirt off road trail so if you have a low car it might be alittle rough for you ! But otherwise absolutely amazing
