Elar Hotel

Prachtige, grote kamer die van alle gemakken voorzien was en erg schoon. Ruime en schone badkamer. Zelfs een balkon met twee zitjes en een mooi uitzicht over de zee. Privé strand met bedjes waar je de gehele dag kan liggen. Personeel is vreindelijk en beleefd. Een enorme aanrader.

Lekkage in de badkamer, maar daar kon het personeel niet zo veel aan doen.

Gorgeous rooms with nice lighting, comfy bed and bathroom facilities. Fantastic beach space and great sun beds & umbrellas. Staff were helpful & friendly. Nice breakfast options and lunch/dinner/drinks menu was average in price for Saranda.

About a 25 minute walk from Saranda’s main strip but we didn’t mind so much, a much quieter area away from the noise. Just something to bear in mind if you’d rather not do the walk & want to be more in the action of the main town. Parking was also a little cramped, might not be available for everyone during peak season (we visited early Oct).

The Most Wonderful Hotel I've Ever Stayed At! ❤️ I travel a lot, and Elar Hotel is without a doubt the most beautiful and charming hotel I've stayed at in Albania. This small, peaceful boutique hotel is a true hidden gem, perfect for relaxing and recharging. I travelled with my mother to celebrate her birthday, and the hotel had arranged a beautiful surprise in our room. She was genuinely touched! Our room was gorgeous, spacious and spotless, with an incredibly comfortable bed, luxurious bedding and even a wonderfully cosy sofa where my mother loved knitting in the evenings. The balcony had breathtaking views and super-comfortable cushioned rocking chairs. The beach was beautiful and peaceful, with complimentary comfortable sun loungers and fantastic service. Visiting in late September was perfect, fewer tourists and plenty of space to relax. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious (I already miss the Beach Brunch!), and every meal and cocktail was excellent, clearly prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Everyone at reception and in the restaurant was incredibly kind, attentive and genuinely caring. The lovely ladies in the restaurant made us feel so welcome that my mother even knitted a pair of woollen socks for one of the waitresses! 😄❤️ She wished she'd had time to make a pair for everyone, because they all deserved them! And I can't forget the hotel's two adorable, friendly dogs 🐶❤️ We slept almost nine hours every night! I usually struggle to sleep in unfamiliar places, but here I slept perfectly from the very first night. I honestly can't remember the last time a holiday left me feeling so completely rested and recharged. Thank you to the entire Elar Hotel team for your kindness, warmth and exceptional hospitality. You've created something truly special, not just a beautiful hotel, but a place that feels like home ❤️ One thing is certain: I WILL be back!

Der Strand war leider eine große Enttäuschung: extrem eng und so dicht mit Liegen vollgestellt, dass man außer anderen Liegestühlen kaum etwas sehen konnte. Die gehäkelten Sonnenschirme sehen zwar nett aus, dienen aber lediglich als Deko und spenden kaum Schatten. Zudem waren die Liegen extrem dreckig und unhygienisch und es gab viele Hunde. Saranda selbst ist sehr stark verbaut und entsprach schlichtweg nicht unserem Geschmack. Dafür kann das Hotel allerdings nichts – da hätten wir uns im Vorfeld einfach besser informieren müssen.
