Premier Inn Berwick Upon Tweed

Had a 2 night stay. Booked this property as it had an elevator and travelling with an elderly parent with reduced mobility. On arrival late in the evening we learned that both elevators were out of order. We were on the 3rd floor with no other suitable rooms available. With assistance from staff and another guest we made it to the room. We were able to switch to a lower room the next morning. All staff were very apologetic and went out of their way to help us make the stay positive despite the challenges, Including moving all our luggage to the new room while we were out. Rooms were roomy, clean with very comfortable beds. Breakfast was very good with choice of a full cooked breakfast or continental. Despite the elevator challenge I would recommend the hotel and visit again.

We had a Premier Plus room so nice & spacious. Clean room with good amenities including WiFi. Friendly & helpful staff. Onsite restaurant & bar was good especially happy hour deals. Good location in the centre of the historic. Easy free parking close by.

Internet is terrible, especially for the price of a room. No fridge or ice or microwave. But great people, extremely clean, very comfortable.

I have stayed in many Premier Inns in the last 8 weeks as I cycle around the UK. Generally they are predictably good, with the breakfast being just what I need to 'fuel' the day. Staff were very helpful.
