GiliFit Fitness Resort

10/10 stay. I’m very happy I chose this hotel 🙏🏼 Location: It’s very well located - close to port, close to night life and also a short 10 minute bike ride away to sunset point on the other side of the island. It’s also very close to the main road that crosses the island, which is a plus, otherwise the ride can be very long and dark through other shortcuts. You can rent bikes directly with reception. Amenities: having the gym right across from your room is a plus, and the pool and stretchers were great. Food: Food options and quality were amazing. A lot of non-guests would also come and have meals here + use the pool which was fun, you have an opportunity to connect with others. Everything was super clean and taken care of.

Nothing the property is really responsible of, but unfortunately I was woken up by the smell of smoke very early in the mornings, like 5am or so, but i’m very sensitive to smells so might not be an issue for others… That’s sadly how waste is managed on the island so there are times in the day where you will inevitably smell a lot of smoke… Perhaps the hotel can consider sealing doors and gaps a bit better 🙏🏼 although I believe some of it might also filter through the AC…

Had a lovely stay at GiliFit on Gili T! The location is ideal, nice and quiet, tucked just far enough away from the busy, crowded main streets. The main reason I booked was for gym access, and it did not disappoint. It is an amazing gym with a complete range of equipment. The resort also serves a fantastic variety of healthy, tasty food; the poke bowls were incredible! Lastly, it is great to see a resort that genuinely cares about the environment. They avoid plastic bottles by using glass, and parts of the bar and property are built from recycled materials. Highly recommend!

Staff on site were friendly, we generally had a pleasant experience here until the last evening. We came back from dinner and there was a cockroach in our room, I informed staff immediately. Only after writing to booking.com did someone come to the room. They did put repellant in there and took my details, they couldn’t move us rooms as it was fully booked and it was so late we couldn’t book somewhere else. I felt really let down by how they handled it after our last night was ruined
