Buena Vista is a beautiful, newly renovated luxury house directly on the Intracoastal Waterway across from downtown St. Augustine. 3 king bedrooms, two with attached bathrooms. The fourth bedroom has two bunk beds, for 4 kids or adults. The fifth has a day bed-twin bed with twin trundle. There are 3 full baths and 2 half baths. Completely renovated in 2018, this house is beautifully finished, with new beds, new furniture,new everything. The kitchen will wow you. Brand new modern cabinets,top of the line Jenn-Air appliances, built in 42" refrigerator, 6 burner range, and equipment for the gourmet chef. The covered veranda overlooks the Matanzas River, with the sailboat fleet directly in front and the ancient city skyline behind it. The picturesque Bridge of Lions twinkles in the evening, just a few hundred yards upriver. 5 minutes to downtown, 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to everything. This is the best location in St. Augustine.
Bring your boat or fish right off the dock-the fishing in the Matanzas is excellent-the Atlantic is only a mile through the inlet.
Just 1 mile from Anastasia State Park- one of the 'worlds best beaches", with boat rentals, kids playground, snack bar, restrooms, plenty of parking.
Sip cocktails on the veranda , or in the spa as the tour boats pass in the river, the sun sets over the water, or as the City lights up in the evening. The views are spectacular. You will never tire of them.
The pool and spa are heated for year-round use. 4 bikes and 2 double kayaks are provided. We also have fishing poles for guest use.

Wonderful vacation rental! One of the best rentals we've experienced with plenty of room for our entire family (3 married couples, 2 teenagers, 4 preteens). The kids loved the pool and enjoyed fishing from the dock as well as riding bikes and using the kayaks. We loved watching the dolphins that would come by. The kitchen was filled with plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans and space to store groceries. We toured St. Augustine and loved all the shops and eateries. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful home with a spectacular view that never gets old. Great location! We had a wonderful time and would stay again if in the area. This home would be awesome for a large family-plenty of room!

This home is in a wonderful location- quiet neighborhood, beautiful views of the water and downtown St. Augustine, great space for extended families. The pool was perfect. The disappointment comes with the lack of upkeep. We had a leaky roof, broken bunk beds which made it so kids couldn’t even sleep on them for the majority of the week. One of our days was interrupted by visits from the handy man and roofers. It was clear that the roof issues were known prior to our stay, as there was a tarp on the roof upon our arrival. The property manager was excellent and communicated promptly upon sharing the issues we experienced. Our second to last morning began with roofers on the roof, loudly making repairs and woke the entire house before 7:30am. It also resulted in debris landing around the pool deck while we were trying to enjoy the pool, on our last full day. Sadly, these issues that disrupted our stay were disappointing and mostly because it was clear the issues existed prior and were not properly addressed. With some care and maintenance, this property could be amazing.
