Minutes to downtown Grand Rapids and Minutes to the Lakeshore. This is the best of both worlds! Built in 1925 this home was originally used as a family home and the local doctors office! This character filled home has been updated with the amenities, and charm you desire from a historic home. This retreat is exactly what the doctor ordered for relaxation, convenience, and fun!

This place exceeded my wildest expectations. The house looks little on the outside but it's huge inside! It's an old house junkie's dream, impeccably maintained and every choice from the wallpaper to the penny tiles was period perfect. I read in the guestbook that one of their guests actually grew up there, then came back for a visit, and thanked the host for giving the place a new life, how cool is that!?! The location is perfect and if we're ever in the area again, this will be our home base for sure. I highly recommend this home and host!
