North Bruce Peninsula STA License # NBP-2021-567
Orchid Trail is designed by Linwood Homes in Delta BC, the award winning design captures the feel of the Westcoast of BC and is right at home among the cedars along the shore of Lake Huron.
The cottage features a large open concept kitchen, dining and great room with two story views of Lake Huron and Youell Island 200 feet offshore.
The property is extremely private, neither neighbor is visible from the cottage. Both Tobermory and Fathom Five National Park are a 10-15 minutes drive.
Swimming in Lake Huron in front of the cottage is excellent with water shoes for the rocky shore or swim from the dock using the ladder at the end of the dock.
You have access to the entire cottage, the surrounding property, deck, hot tub, fire pit and dock.
The property manager is available to help with questions and assist as needed.
A car is unfortunately mandatory to visit Tobermory due to limited public transit.
Bedding is not provided automatically with your booking but can be added for an additional fee of $40 per room plus taxes. The fee includes full bedding for one room and towels for 2 people. Bedding can be arranged for multiple rooms. Contact us after booking to arrange bedding if you wish.

An Absolutely Magical Stargazing Retreat! We had an incredible stay at this cottage and cannot recommend it enough. The location is ideal—a very manageable and scenic 4-hour drive from the GTA, making it a perfect getaway. Blake and Julie were great hosts, responses were very quick.Tobermory is a lovely little town with friendly people. The cottage itself was clean and the beds and sofa were all comfortable. The private lakefront backyard, with a pier, is the true star of the property. It's spacious, perfectly maintained, and is extremely private.Waking up to that serene lake view with our morning coffee was just as wonderful as the stargazing at night. We can confirm you can clearly see the Milky Way without any equipment. If you are interested in Astrophotography, you are in for a treat. We were even lucky enough to catch the Northern Lights this 2025 Sept. Words don't quite do the views justice, so we'll let the photos speak for themselves. All taken by mobile phone cameras.
