Room was good for a overnight halt. Bang opp the bus stand. easy to access restos and fruit shops. Both Mr. Hussain and his father were very courteous and helpful. Served us a good breakfast.
Just that there are about 4 similar Kargil Castle so it would have been better if they had put up the address as opp to bus stand and it is up a small hill on the opp side.

"The staff was excellent, we got there soaking wet (touring on bicycles and it was a rainy day) and they offered to tumble dry our clothes, we got warm showers and plenty of great food."
