Great location, free onsen that can be used privately with family. The outside rock onsen was a bit too hot for me but the inside was great.
Very friendly staff who helped us with facilities and getting around. Nice, simple breakfast with good view to Fuji.
There was some chemical smell in the room, maybe the wood was treated, but it can be a bit strong especially during the first day.

Our hosts were so friendly and helpful. Comfortable room and the choice of 3 private onsens. So many thoughtful items were provided and even bikes to cycle round the lake. We couldn’t fault the Manor House, we would very happily stay there again,
Nothing.

Place was accommodating, outdoor bath and a massage chair was relaxing. Owners were super nice, we couldn’t get a taxi and while we waited made us tea and helped us organise our travel to get to where we need to go. Could not recommend more. Such a wonderful stay felt right at home.

"Tout, franchement le couple qui gère l'établissement est adorable et aux petits soins. Nous avons même oublié les lunettes de notre fille dans une chambre, et ils nous les ont envoyées à Kyoto. Vraime..."
