Welcome to the Emerald Wellness Suite—a place where tranquility is palpable and couples can find their own space.
Tucked away in the lush southern part of Essen lies this lovingly designed suite. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a quiet promise to two people to make time for each other.

The suite is located in Essen-Burgaltendorf, an idyllic neighborhood with a rural character that has retained its special charm. Surrounded by fields and the ruins of a historic castle, Burgaltendorf borders directly on Hattingen. Here, life can still be peaceful—perfect for simply unwinding.

As soon as you step inside, you can tell that nothing in the Emerald Wellness Suite has been left to chance. A curved design, natural materials, subdued lighting—everything flows seamlessly together and invites you to unwind.

At the heart of the room, a spacious whirlpool bubbles away, inviting you to let yourself drift—together or on your own. The soothing warmth of the Finnish sauna allows you to take a deep breath, and the elegant massage chair relieves tension you may have even forgotten you had.

The rain shower, framed by a vibrant living wall of plants, brings freshness and nature into the room—as if a summer rain were falling on moss. Afterward, a bed awaits to gently cradle you: electrically adjustable, spacious, and perfect for long conversations and peaceful nights.

If you wish, the technology takes care of everything else—music, lighting, and blinds. Controlled intuitively, without disturbing you. For those little moments of indulgence in between, a minibar, a fine selection of teas, and a capsule coffee machine are at your disposal. And if you simply want to relax with a movie, a large smart TV with streaming services awaits you.

This suite is designed for special moments—whether as a retreat for newlyweds, a quiet setting for a marriage proposal, a wedding anniversary gift, or simply for a weekend that means more than just two days off.

Many of our guests tell us they’ve been searching for a place like this for a long time: quiet, private, upscale, surrounded by nature—yet centrally located. They come for a night or a weekend—and leave with sparkling eyes and the desire to return soon.

The Emerald Wellness Suite offers exactly what you won’t find in any catalog: space for intimacy, for conversation, for the feeling that the outside world doesn’t matter right now.

If you’d like to treat yourself and your special someone to something extraordinary—a genuine moment of respite—then this might be just the place.
