Newcastle is accessible via bus or Metro but well worth the trip, with its vibrant nightlife, shopping, and cultural landmarks like the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, the Glasshouse and historic Quayside, and the impressive Newcastle Castle. For history lovers, Durham is just a short journey away, home to the stunning Durham Cathedral and Castle, charming riverside walks and boutique shopping.
