Better than sleeping in your car .... maybe !

The location was ok. Quiet but close to the places I wanted to visit and on street parking directly outside.

Very slow response from the host to emails and the booking process to the point that upon arrival I had no idea how to access the keys. The host had emailed me as I was travelling to the address and so I hadn't seen the email. Phone calls to the host were unanswered and upon arrival, of the two numbers given, one was disconnected and the other went to answerphone again. The room description was Cozy Family....The room was neither 'cozy' nor suitable for a family. Bare floor, no chair and directly off the kitchen and opposite the bathroom. That sounds ok but I was treated to 30 minutes of somebody clearing their sinuses during the evening and woken at 02:00 in the morning by somebody listening to a radio broadcast and banging pans in the kitchen again whilst clearing their sinuses. The bed was fairly uncomfortable and the free wifi was non existent, at least there were no instructions in the room to indicate how to connect.

Only for the hardcore

Communication with host was good..

The bed sheets were not ironed. My duvet smelled very unpleasant. There was only one chair and one bar stool in the kitchen. The chest freezer was dirty. The outdoor seating was dilapidated and dirty. I had expected a better standard of quality from Booking.com.

Ok, but not longer than 1 night
