The owners, Greg and Melanie, were very gracious and welcoming. When we got there with no food at all after being in a taxi all day, Greg went above and beyond by offering to drive us to a cafe in a nearby town, Huismes. As it turned out, they served the best chocolate dessert of our entire trip! The second day, we needed a taxi to and from the Chateau Chinon. Since it would take so long for a taxi to get there, Greg offered us taxi service - what a guy! Melanie was charming and lovely, provided a breakfast beyond compare: croissants, yogurt, nuts, baguette, a homemade baked breakfast bar, and orange juice that tasted fresh-squeezed. Greg also gave us a tour of their orchard and showed us the chicken house and the fake egg a chicken was sitting on to motivate her, and poured our bottle of champagne for us. A very wonderful, countryside experience.

Zeer schone kamer en goed bed. Gastvrije ontvangst Goed verzorgd ontbijt
