spacious room, decent breakfast, friendly staff
a liitle too far from the train station. There was no one at the hotel at 3 pm although Booking.com's information that the check-in could be done 11 am on (there is a sign at the door stating that the hotel is open 24 h. I tried to call someone on the phone, after ringing the bell a number of times; at last, a lady returned my call and presented herself in 10 minutes time to let me in; she pointed out another sign statinng that the check-in time is at 5 pm on)

Perfect place for one night stay to explore the area of this part of Switzerland and neighboring Liechtenstein. Room was spacious, comfortable bed, very quiet. Breakfast was great, fresh and served "punkt" from 7AM which was very good as i had to start my day very early. Overall very good place to stay in Sargans as the hotels are quite limited here, and also price was adequate and acceptable.
I wrote my arrival time around 8PM but when arrived hotel was closed with no sign of someone there to open for me, although the sign said open every day. After i ring the bell many times, and waiting about 20 minutes tried to call as i had no wifi, and the lady came to open for me and i made check in and paid.

Perfectly clean, airy and well appointed room. Our host was very generous allowing us an earlier check-in which was marvellous after our long haul flights.
