We loved our stay at High Shilford Barn and would 100% recommend it. Claire was a wonderful host, and nothing was too much trouble. She arranged a cot, bedding and high chair for our youngest child, welcomed us on arrival, and left milk, bread and treats for our stay. The beautifully converted barn is private, with uninterrupted field views. The heat pump and underfloor heating throughout meant it was constantly a cosy temperature, and the fast EV charger was a real bonus for our days of exploring. Some reviews mention poor Wi-Fi, but we found it to be stable and streamed reliably throughout our stay. Beds were super comfy and the facilities were perfect for a young family stay. I wish we'd have been able to stay longer, will not hesitate to book again.

The property is beautifully appointed with everything you need to have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Claire, the host, was amazing! She was easy to communicate with, reached out before we arrived to provide information about parking, was helpful on arrival and even came to pick us up from the pub! We loved the property and will definitely book again/recommend for friends.

Lovely new barn conversion. Fully equipped with plenty of room and a great view. Perfect for our stay and very comfortable.

You’ve got to be careful pulling out onto the A68

The barn is very carefully designed. A beautiful property, comfortable and welcoming. Well designed kitchen and bathrooms, relaxing decor. Washing up whilst looking at horses and sheep. Perfect!

The only negative was that the WiFi wasn't strong enough to support the TV, kept buffering every few minutes. So ended up by turning it off. Otherwise, no problems.
