Avis

7 / 10

We enjoyed our stay here, had a quality picnic. We will remember this one.

The property was clean and situated in a quiet neighbourhood. Facilities were comfy and good.

The sink in the washroom was blocked, and there’s no rug or mat outside the washroom.

Don't fall for the pics of the property. The property may ALREADY be booked for the same date.

The property was cleaned and well-maintained, as you would expect for commercial purposes.

Imagine you travelled 5 hours with 2 toddlers on a rainy and windy evening and you find out your booked property is already occupied by other guests. So the property was booked twice for the same date. We tried to call the host, but he/she didn't pick up and finally started all the conversation by text. I think the host has a "TEXTS ONLY" policy. Anyway, we were offered adjacent property, and obviously, we had no choice but to accept it. Not suitable for our purpose as we struggled to go up and down on stairs all the time with toddlers. NO HEATING was on in this property. The next day all our stuff was transferred to our originally booked property (IN OUR ABSENCE) by the cleaner as the other guests checked out in the morning. Again, the heating was set too low; we barely felt the heating was ON. Locating the door and getting access is another issue. Overall, very bad experience!!

Very bad experience and a waste of money

The property has a private parking but you have to be careful when entering before you hit your car on electric pole

The property was unclean, the pictures on site looks great but it’s awful inside. I took all the pictures and sent these to the host and what he could say is that I will flag this up not even a sorry to me and my family. Becareful not to use any appliance in the house because they are unclean. We were lucky not to use the kettle because it was unclean. Heating is not working properly, sink is blocked and after brushing your teeth the waters stays for ages before it goes down. The host won’t pick your calls! Check the pictures below see for yourself how we met the property!

Unusable and unclean property with no support from customer services

Leaving it.

Please see attached photos. We arrived and the hot tub was empty and dirty. We struggled to enter the property as the owners had failed to answer my repeated requests for assistance over the week prior to check in via their 3rd party website which required passport identification. Therefore no information was given to access the property and we were waiting with 2 tired children in the icy rain, crying and miserable. On finally entering the property, it was clearly unsuitable for our needs as it was filthy. There was a mouldy flipflop and rubbish, dirt, crumbs and other items under the sofa bed which we tried to set up but found no bedding for it either. The mirror in the bedroom had been ripped from the wall and propped against it which was unsafe for our children. There was a layer of dust on all skirting proving that this property has not been adequately cleaned for a number of weeks. Booking.com were unhelpful to say the least when we requested a refund. The property owners have ignored our complaints and detailed photographs in evidence. They supplied booking.com with time stamped photos to prove that cleaners had been sent after we vacated. However booking.com confirmed time stamped on these photos as being taken earlier in the day prior to our arrival and also not being the specific areas that we highlighted. On checking the reviews it seems clear that multiple identical 10/10 ratings with identical descriptions were added in a short period of time from November 2025. This raises alarm bells as to the validity of these reviews.. Neither booking.com nor the property owners have provided me with any resolution which considers that we had two neurodiverse children out in the cold, and with no access to our funds to provide the family with alternate accommodation. We will never use either this property or booking.com again. Book at your own risk. We were in the property for 20 minutes, and vacated immediately.
