The Neighborhood:

Commonly known as “Foodie Row,” the Hawthorne/Buckman District puts you within walking distance of a wide variety of top-notch local flavors! Make new friends over fries and poutine at the Cartopia food cart pod, get messy with wings at Fire on the Mountain on East Burnside, or share a pie at Apizza Scholls.



Portland isn't just for foodies; the vibrant indie spirit of Hawthorne is alive with plenty of made-in-Oregon shops and boutiques to explore. Catch a movie at the Bagdad Theater and Pub, a revamped 1920s theater turned view-and-brew venue serving local McMenamins food and microbrews. If bar hopping through neighborhoods isn’t your idea of recreation, head up to Mt. Tabor, a city park atop a volcanic cinder cone, where you’ll find miles of hiking trails and incredible panoramic views of the city.



Getting Around:

🚶 Walking — This neighborhood sits between the Division and Hawthorne corridors, two of Portland's best streets for dining and shopping — both within easy walking distance.



🚌 Bus — TriMet FX2 (Division) serves downtown, and Route 75 (Cesar Chavez/Lombard) offers connections across Portland. Check the current trip planner for your route.

Other Things to Note:

Entry uses the shared front door of the main house, then stairs up to Apartment 3. This may be difficult with heavy luggage or mobility concerns. Neighboring apartments and street activity can be audible.



The living area now has a smaller sofa than shown in some photos, with limited seating; it is not a sofa bed. Three queen beds in the two bedrooms accommodate up to six guests. A bedroom skylight can bring early-morning light.

We welcome pets! Our cleaning team deep cleans between every stay, though we can't guarantee 100% dander-free for allergy-sensitive guests

10 PM - 7 AM



🚭 No Smoking or Vaping

Smoking and vaping are not allowed anywhere on the property, indoors or outdoors. Guests who wish to smoke or vape must leave the property completely.



Interaction with Guests:

We're available by message anytime and typically respond within minutes. We're local to Portland and happy to help with anything - from restaurant recommendations to a quick answer at midnight when you can't find something. We keep a hands-off approach unless you need us, and when you do, we're right there.
