We had everything we needed in the flat except a tea towel which is often the case. We never cook and it seems silly to put a dishwasher on for a few cups and plates. Great location, overlooked the park where I sometimes went as a child. Being the North, bus services are good and there is a bus stop outside the property. The station car park is nearby and its free between 3pm and 8am. Go to Sunniside nearby for restaurants. The Italian Angelos is very good, its a shame that the city seems empty at night and restaurants are suffering.
I was told that booking.com would send me the door code which never happened. Luckily the owner is easily contactable. It seems a tradition that we get a ticket every time we go back to Sunderland. Traffic lights seem to spring up all over the place and all with cameras. The Sat Nav was to blame on one occasion- trust your own judgement.

The apartment was exceptional. Everything was great, from the location and cleanliness to the excellent value for money. I’m also extremely grateful to the host for kindly allowing me a late check-out. I had a very pleasant stay and would definitely recommend this apartment.

Very nice aesthetic place. Ironing board, cutlery and other bits were a bonus.
It smelt really bad like pee.
