Belvedere 2, nestled in the heart of the historic center of the charming village of Piedimonte Etneo, overlooks the green little square of S. Ignazio, which faces the Ionian Sea. This historic town, once the seat of the court of the Gravina Cruyllas princes, is nestled in the foothills of Mount Etna at an elevation of 350 meters.
This late-19th-century building, completely renovated in accordance with the most advanced seismic and energy-efficiency standards, is equipped with heating and cooling systems as well as Wi-Fi. It spans three floors, named: Casa Belvedere, Belvedere 2, and Belvedere 3.
Belvedere 2 is located on the first floor and covers an area of 91 square meters. It features a large double bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen connected to an open-concept living room—which includes two sofas that each convert into a bed—a spacious bathroom, and a small storage room. From the living room’s two balconies, the view stretches out over the blue Ionian Sea.
Its ideal location allows you to reach the renowned seaside resorts of Fiumefreddo di Sicilia, Castel di San Marco, and Giardini Naxos; in 15 minutes, the ski resorts of Piano Provenzana—Etna Nord and the Alcantara Gorges; the famous Taormina (12 km); and the Baroque towns of Acireale (29 km) and Catania (45 km), which are also accessible by public transportation—buses stop right in front of the main entrance—via the Fiumefreddo highway exit, located a very short distance from the entrance to the municipal area.
