I stayed in two different rooms this time, and both offered wonderful views of the valley and the garden; I don't think there is such a thing as a "bad room" here. It lives up to the high ratings in the reviews. It is a magnificent villa—beautiful, welcoming, clean, well-designed, and impeccably maintained. The owner—a father and son—were cheerful, kind, and fluent in English.

The only positive aspect of our stay was Putu, who genuinely tried to help resolve the issues we raised. He was professional, attentive, and even offered us a complimentary spa treatment as a gesture of goodwill. While we appreciated his effort, we chose not to accept the offer because we believe it is important to provide an honest review of our overall experience. Unfortunately, despite Putu’s excellent customer service, the overall stay was disappointing and did not meet our expectations. We would not choose to stay here again.

We were very disappointed with our stay at Sokwayah Jungle. The property looks beautiful in photos, but unfortunately the actual experience was far below expectations. There were several major issues during our stay: 1. The swimming pool water was noticeably cloudy and did not appear clean. 2. There was a persistent sewage smell coming from the drainage system, which made it difficult to fully relax and enjoy the villa. 3. The shuttle service was unreliable and often not available on time, causing unnecessary inconvenience. 4. Overall maintenance and guest experience did not meet the standard we expected for this price point.
