What an attention to detail is given to the renovation, interior and equipment of this accommodation. The room had a cosy atmosphere which makes you feel right at home and at ease. Next to the comfortable bed it is nice to have a kitchenette with facilities to prepare a light meal or breakfast. Also the bathroom was very comfortable and nice to start your day in. The owner is proud of the property and eager to make guests enjoy their stay. As for the location, Mittenwald has all the facilities you need for a getaway trip. And everything is of walking distance from the property. Would definitely recommend it and I think it is a refreshing addition to the accommodation offering in the area.

If you have the windows opened you will notice the proximity to the main road. Yet as I always have earplugs on me it was no nuisance.

We spent a day and a half at Karl’s during a layover, and it truly felt like a magical little getaway! The property is beautiful, new, modern, and exceptionally clean. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the charming village, with stunning mountain views all around. The café was another highlight, with delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. Everything about our stay made us wish we had more time in Mittenwald. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend Karl’s to anyone visiting this beautiful Bavarian town. We can’t wait to return!
