Nightmare at scenic cabin

Nothing.

A bed still had wadded up sheets on it, a wet towel in the bathroom. The bath rug, looked dirty, only two towels for two bathrooms and they weren't even in the bathroom. No hand towels, wash cloths or bath mats. The kitchen had no drawer liners, saw several mouse turds, kitchen was not adequately stocked with utensils. Took an hour to get a hold of host, even though I told them our arrival time. Offered me to credit me one night stay and his cleaners would be there in an hour. I also had to send him pictures as if he didn't believe me. Then offered me two nights credit, I said no I was not staying. Said he couldn't refund me that I had to initiate it. There was a hot tub out back that had green water in it and the back deck was cluttered and trashy. It was a very traumatic experience as we were there to visit a sick relative in McKinney Tx. I wasted an hour and half with host, another half hour to find different lodging and then over an hour getting a refund filed with booking. They do not make it easy. Too many hoops to jump and staff that does not speak precise clear language.
