Run-down shed--NOT a tiny house. I love a cheap stay & can deal with anything reasonably safe, generally comfortable & mostly clean. This is the first place I’ve seriously considered leaving immediately. We booked months earlier & only stayed because World Cup lodging had become scarce. The host was intrusive before arrival, sending about 35 separate texts the night before check-in with new rules, warnings, & instructions about what we could/could not touch, move, plug in, or use. She demanded multiple ETA updates before & during my drive, sent rude messages when I didn’t reply right away, & required me to text again once we were standing in the driveway beside a specific vehicle. The unit is badly constructed & does not appear to be built to code or properly permitted. The bathroom door doesn’t open fully or close properly b/c it is too large for the frame & has no latch. A huge chandelier hangs dangerously low (I’m only 5-8). The A/C ran constantly but never cooled the space below 80 b/c the unit is too small for the opening. Someone used tape to try filling the gap, but it was old, dusty, bug-covered, & falling away. The place is filthy, cluttered, & badly maintained. The bathroom floor is peeling up, exposing dirty plywood, & there was hair, grime, and dead bugs all over. The Wi-Fi barely loaded a webpage & the “kitchenette” is a joke. There are two campers also crammed into the yard. At night, we could smell their toilets. Cheap is one thing, but this was terrible.

I didn't stay. The place wasn't as I expected. When someone says parking, I expected it to be on the property, NOPE... Street parking onlyHeat? Yep a duraflame electric heater, not on when I arrived. I was still cold after 90 minutes with my fleece lined coat on.1 bedroom, NOPE... Closer to a studio Dining area? Maybe if you call the work station a place to eat. Stove? Idk, didn't see it.It did have many hazards, the outside mat, I tripped over that twice, inside the door there was a stool I tripped over that, in the living /bed area there is a chandelier to which I conked my head at least three times. So if you're taller than 5'8" this place is probably not for you. Now let's touch briefly on the property owner. She seems very demanding about arrival time. You need to tell her when you're expected to arrive, and let her know at least 2 hours in advance that you are on your way. And then 1 hour in advance that you're still on your way, and then she'd like to know when you're 10 minutes out. And for those reasons I called the property owner and I told her that I would not be staying there and she offered a full refund to which I still have not received. 1 good thing, the owner was flexible enough to allow me to change my reservation for 2 days later because of the potential of an ice storm.
