Welcome to The Peabody House, a beautifully restored 2-bedroom, 2-bath retreat one block from downtown Brenham. Built in 1900, the Peabody House is a perfect blend of historic character and modern comfort offering a one-of-a-kind stay for couples, families, or groups of friends. The spacious floor plan features wide cased openings, 11’ ceilings, long leaf pine floors and abundant natural light. Sip your morning coffee in a rocking chair on the front porch or enjoy appetizers al fresco while you grill on the back deck…there’s plenty of space to unwind and enjoy a slice of small town living.

This house was not only SO beautiful and located SO close to town, but it was quiet and the beds were all supremely comfortable with wonderful blackout curtains to enjoy leisurely mornings! Our host was fabulous about communicating and accommodating all our needs! We hope to make this a yearly trip!! Thank you again, Catherine!

Beautiful restored home with large open rooms and cozy feel. Loved our stay

Zero response to multiple attempts to communicate.Backyard and table unusable due to debris scattered from trees. Parking was hard due to overgrown shrubs that scalped my Yukon. House is beautiful.Small vacuum used in kitchen- when powered in it stink so bad of pet odor.
