Great stay!

Alex’s home on the hillside was wonderful place to rest and relax after a full day of exploring SF and the surrounding area. We intrigued by the modern styling which was very thoughtful and detailed. Everything from the kitchen to the bedrooms was very clean and well kept. The appliances and technology were state-of-the-art and functioned as intended. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and we enjoyed short hikes to the top of the Twin Peaks to enjoy breathtaking views. Alex was responsive to our requests for items and information; and he even met us as we checked in to provide helpful tips. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice to stay here, would recommend, and would stay again.

The flat is beautiful with new, upgraded furniture and appliances. There is a wonderful view of the forested hillside. Beds are comfortable. Alex was very responsive to our only question during the stay. The kitchen was well-equipped. We found the entire place spotlessly clean. We have every intention of staying there again.

The house is nice and well appointed and we would have rated it higher had the owner not knocked on the door on Christmas evening to complain about the number of people visiting - six - one more than the five non-staying guests we anticipated and disclosed per their pre-check-in instructions. We were playing board games with our daughter, grandson, and her husband, and another couple and their 7 y.o. daughter, when they dropped by. The visit was cringy and embarrassing, but ultimately we feel sorry for the owners who spent their Christmas surveilling us and their rental property. VRBO says ‘your vacation property should feel like a vacation’ - not like probation.
