We chose Duomo-Central because it looked modern, well presented, very clean, it had all we wanted. It was very nice and comfortable to stay there. Good heating, washing machine. 5 nights.
The location is excellent, between the Centrale station and Milan centre (via a park). We walked most of the time.
From Milan we did day trips - Lake Como, Verona and Bologna - just walking to the station in the mornings.
There are local convenience shops, restaurants, bakeries.
We had great support from the owner.
No issues. All good.
