The pool is the highlight and honestly the reason I'd book again. Before booking we were worried it might be one of those Bali pools that sits in the shade and stays cold all day but that wasn't the case at all. The sun tracks right across it, and on sunny days the water was still warm and lovely even in the evening. It's big enough to actually swim in, a few people can be in it at once, and both the water and the pool itself were kept clean. There are sun loungers for tanning and a green area beside the pool that's perfect for yoga or stretching. A beautiful tree overhangs it and drops flowers into the water, which looks lovely. The AC is powerful and works really well. Cleaning is available every day on request, and there's a separate water cooler, which was very welcome. They also offer extras like massages and hair care — we didn't use them, but it's nice to have the option. The kitchen is fully equipped if you want to cook. There was always someone stationed outside the property, which made us feel safe. The area is quieter and less crowded than central Seminyak, and the beach is only a 15–20 minute walk away. We liked that.

The villa is showing its age — it's clean and there's no bad smell at all, but you can see that a few things could do with repair or refreshing. The kitchen appliances also looked quite old, so we ended up eating out or ordering in instead. The steps leading into the pool are rough and we scraped ourselves on them — worth being careful, especially with kids. The location isn't central and the villa sits down a narrow lane that's hard for cars to reach, so you'll want to walk out to the main street to get picked up.

De 3 slaapkamers zitten rondom het zwembad en daarnaast is er een huiskamer waar je samen kunt zitten. Iedereen heeft een eigen badkamer wat fijn is. Het zit dichtbij winkels en restaurants in een steegje maar er is security mocht je het spannend vinden. Wij hadden heel last minute geboekt en konden een uur later zo terecht en werden vriendelijk ontvangen.

De badkamers hebben kiezelstenen wat heel leuk staat maar bij het toilet is het niet handig (met name in de aparte slaapkamer). Geen groot probleem.
