Hotel Pax Atocha

Hotel is in a real neighborhood that felt safe and convenient. Desk attendants were lovely and mostly informative (although not great at the best walking directions). Room was great! Loved the layout and the Bathroom was spacious. We chose a room with a patio. Happy it was so quiet. Cost was perhaps slightly expensive for the neighborhood - both residential and commercial. Didn't have breakfast at the hotel- price was high - Instead enjoyed the friendly cafes close to the hotel that served breakfast.

We initially had difficulty navigating the hotel location from Atocha station. We knew hotel was very close - but there are so many exits and entrances from the train station and lack of street signs that made it challenging to initially find the hotel on foot even with Google maps. Maybe add more location information to your website as to the easiest route to and from Atocha and museums or have it available at the front desk along with restaurant recommendations. Cost was perhaps slightly expensive for the neighborhood which is mostly residential and commercial.
