The location was great as it was very near all the pubs hosting Shanty Festival events and we could walk to them. The house itself was also great as it enabled 3 family members to all share a space but each have their own bedroom etc.

There was only one shower which was in a cubicle on the top floor, but the way the door was fitted meant that all three of us struggled to get into the cubicle as the gap between the door and the wall was very small. Also the open plan nature of the top floor also meant we had to be very precise with who was using the shower at any time to ensure our personal privacy

Finished to a high standard, cosy and clean. Good night's sleep and convenient location.

UPDATE: The owner has mentioned velux blunds in reply to which I cannot respond. To clarify, the issue is not with windows to the master bedroom itself, but (primarily) with the large window on the landing and several other windows downstairs not equipped with blinds or curtains. Also friction fit blinds which are not secure. Lack of privacy due to lack of blind or curtain coverage of multiple windows a serious drawback. Direct line of sight to 1st floor toilet and master bedroom (incl. bed) from street, overlooked by neighbours on both sides. Blind in 1st floor bedroom fell down on first use (friction fit only). No freezer (just a huge fridge). Bottom oven not working. No oven glove or scissors found.
