Laura and Ron are the ultimate B&B hosts. They take an incredible amount of pride in the property and have restored it to a tee. An authentic 19th century feel, but with all the modern comforts one could ask for. Laura's breakfasts are simply amazing and are guaranteed to fuel you up for the day's exploration of Gettysburg.

Everything was wonderful. My oldest son is a Gettysburg grad and 20+ years ago we had a nice B&B we went to, that has since changed hands, so I decided to try a new one in a similar location. It's a 10 minute walk to the Dobbin House and 10 minutes to many of the stores.
The difference was like night and day and I cannot recommend the Langdon Hill House highly enough. Laura and Ron are charming hosts dedicated to presenting a beautifully restored home (2.5 years in the making) along with period and antique furniture along with countless artifacts. It's a history lesson on its own.
They are very gracious, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The rooms are beautiful with antique furnishings, and modern bathrooms in every room.
The breakfasts went beyond the standard fare and we're served fresh and hot by Laura who dresses in attire that is appropriate for the 1860's era.
This B&B is owned and run by two passionate people and will be our stopping place as we split our drive to and from Syracuse from our home in North Carolina. It's the perfect place to get a good night or two of sleep, have some excellent food and enjoy the hospitality of two great hosts all while taking in some history.
Nothing to criticize.
