We have stayed at Albur village previously and the location is very central. The apartment was spotlessly clean and a great size.

The complex itself is starting to look a bit tired and would really benefit from a refresh. A welcome or instruction manual for guests would also be a helpful addition, along with small touches such as a bottle of water or even a welcome bottle of wine. The TV in the lounge was too small for the size of the room, and upgrading it would make a noticeable difference to the overall experience. After making the booking, we were informed that we would not be able to leave our cases at the apartment if we arrived early and were advised instead to use a luggage storage facility in Alvor, despite none appearing to exist. In any case, this would have meant additional expense and inconvenience. We arrived around lunchtime and, as expected, were not allowed to leave our luggage while the apartment was being cleaned. This was frustrating, as it would have been a simple courtesy and would have made things much easier for us. Instead, we were left with nowhere to store our bags, which was inconvenient and not a great start to the holiday.
