My fiance, now wife, stayed at Encounters at Lake Gaston for our wedding weekend. The place was perfect and allowed us to have a little escape from family and friends. We had rented both houses on this property and had family stay in the other house. The setup was perfect.

The house was clean ,and well stocked with the usual items needed.nice porch to sit on,and a swing.parking is a bit tight, but manageable there is a beautiful dock,at the end of the property to fish from,we wete not sure,if we could use the canoes, paddle boards etc,as it was not described in listing, which was a little disappointing, so we didnt use them, otherwise it was very relaxing.make sure to shop before you arrive
