In het appartement was praktisch alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben aanwezig.
De auto kon direct naast het appartement geparkeerd staan.
Het hele appartement bevond zich op de begane grond en alles was dus ook gelijkvloers.
In de huiskamer bevonden zich 2 grote ramen die uitkeken op de verbindings weg door de wijken en op een naast gelegen klein stukje bos. De snelweg was vrij snel (door ongeveer 1-2 km rijden) over de(ze) verbindings weg te bereiken.
Leuk was ook dat je met een vrij korte wandeling door het wijkje met bungalows (sommige nog in aanbouw) aan een van de vele wateren die Canada rijk is kon staan.
Eigenlijk het enige was dat de bad handoeken om te douchen iets aan de kleine kant waren.
Verder viel er, zoals ik al eerder zei, weinig op het appartement aan te merken

The location is excellent for visiting Nanaimo and up Island. Dedicated parking stall right in front of the suite so easy to load in and out. A well-equipped full one bedroom suite with huge walk in shower as well as laundry facilities. Patio area to enjoy morning coffee. The suite is separate from the main house so great privacy but hosts were easily available to answer questions. A couple of minutes drive to the ocean or even walkable if you feel like a bit of exercise! My third stay there and would not hesitate to return.
Nothing. A great place to stay that's why I keep returning to this accommodation.

The location was perfect for us as we were visiting people in the area & were also able to explore the beaches & other highlights in the area. Everything we needed was available in the Purple Door Carriage House, including a washer & dryer which we used. Laundry soap was also provided. The place was comfortable & clean. It was quiet and private. We were sent a lock code prior to our arrival so entry was easy. The price was exceptional, especially considering how much was available to us. Much better value than a typical hotel room. We would definitely book the Purple Door Carriage House if we were happen to be in the area again.
The floor was a bit cool with it being on a concrete slab, but nothing a pair of socks couldn't fix. :)
