Would not come again, bad experience
In terms of geographical location, the building is very well situated. There is a train going from Hetzendorf right to the Hauptbahnhof, subway U6, bus and tram connection... Several grocery stores, a shopping mall in Alterlaa down the street, everything within some walking distance.
However, in terms of the actual position of the place, your head will be separated from the main street by about 2 m in your sleep, there are very thin walls with the neighboring apartments and there is an honest attempt of a garden which actually looks pretty nice, but in the context of the half-decomposed building it seems quite ridiculous - the place looks like it is run by teenagers on substances. Furthermore, the hygiene standards were too low to my liking (black mold, condom covers and used tissues scattered around the room on top of mysterious fluid stains on the walls and ant infestation) and half of the room equipment was damaged upon my arrival - broken window handle and hinges, moldy washing machine, shower head, clogged sink and I could go on.
The communication with the landlords was... difficult. First, if they give you some actual instructions on how to get inside the building and accomodate yourself, you are very much in luck (not just my problem, throughout the stay I encountered some other clueless people with suitcases standing in front of the building after office hours, so no luck for them). Then, they either ignore your messages, let a chatbot reply, or in the best case scenario they provide you with a passive-aggressive agreement of providing you with the address of their office so that you can visit them in person in Rennweg (their website says Bratislava btw). Oh, and Markus is a myth, there is no Markus, I checked ;)
So now you might be thinking - why did I not just turn around and leave once I saw the state of things? The answer is simple. I did not have any other place to go and I had to stay in Vienna for 3 months straight (work-relatedly), so I just went with it, bought a bunch of cleaning products, clenched my teeth, rolled up my sleeves and cleaned the apartment myself. That being said, if you have other options for accomodation, I highly recommend that you do not act as I did. This place is definitely not suitable for long-term stays.
