Room size was great for a family of 4. Very spacious.
No plug point near the bed for ohone charging. Bathroom sink was very beautiful but not practicle for brushing teeth or washing your face.

This is clearly a hotel with a grand history. On check-in I met the owner, who was a down-to-earth , friendly character. Was a great stay.
In the absence of a restaurant, some temporary kitchen/catering arrangements were made , which I appreciated. I would place those away from the view of incoming guests.

We didn't have breakfast but there is a coffee shop on the property as well which is lovely.
We received a warm welcoming from the staff and they went above and beyond for my 88 year old mother, this was very much appreciated.
