A quintessential coastal getaway awaits at this three-bedroom home in Sunset Beach, where you'll be just around the corner from the beach itself, the beautiful Atlantic Ocean, and the town fishing pier.
With the beach only a quarter-mile down the road, this cheerful home is a place to spend your days swimming, boogie boarding, fishing, and collecting seashells on the sand. A number of restaurants, cafes, shops, and conveniences are just across the Intracoastal Waterway less than a mile north.
Stroll home from the beach in the afternoon to be greeted by sunny yellow shutters, a shaded patio beneath the house, and a lovely back deck where you can soak up a bit more sun, play cards, or gather for an alfresco meal in the shade of the umbrella. We arrived at 11PM Saturday of check in. AC was only cooling to 75. A bit understandable because of the heat wave. We used the box vans provided. The next day we were at beach all day and then dinner, Home was 80 degrees upon return. We called rental agency. they said someone will be by shortly. A handyman showed up at 10PM. He could not fix the HVAC. He said HVAC tech would be there early next day. They came at 5PM the next day.Other than that it is a great home, the master bedroom mattress is comfortable. The other two bedrooms desperately need new mattresses and the sofa in family room was disgusting and about 20 years old. We placed sheets over it to sit on.It is very well decorated and in a great location. Lots of items usable from closet under home. Umbrellas, chairs etc...Overall I'd give our stay a C. If the beds were updated and sofa it would have been more enjoyable. The 100 degree weather was a bit much as well, but that's uncontrollable. We would stay there again if new beds and sofa were updated.

The house was very nice, very clean, very neat. The parking is not good at all. All the bushes are overgrown. It's tough backing out onto the busy highway. The Bushes behind the house, between the deck and the beach, are very overgrown, They're probably fifteen feet tall, which kind of obstructed the beach view a good bit. The water pressure was terrible. It was tough to even get the shampoo rinsed out of your hair in the shower. The beds, were also terrible.They could not have been more uncomfortable. They are very old and worn. The house and the location are very nice. It just needs some maintenance.
