Delightful island getaway! This newly renovated 2 bedroom, 2 1/2 bath townhouse is located near the Ritz Carlton in the gated community of Summer Beach Village. Steps away from the pool and the pristine sand of Amelia Island's beautiful beach, and just minutes from historic downtown Fernandina. Combined living room/dining room, updated kitchen, washer dryer, cable TV and Wi-Fi. Second floor primary bedroom with king bed, private bath with walk-in shower, guest bedroom with twin beds and private bath. There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room should the need arise. The shaded balcony sits among the stately Live Oak trees that are found throughout the resort and is the perfect place to relax and unwind.
The owners of this condo are members of the private Golf Club and Beach Club of Amelia Island. Not all property owners are members of this exclusive resort and club. Guests of this unit can enjoy access to these resort amenities which include - the private and gated Beach Club of Amelia Island, the oceanfront pool, Beach Club bar and grill (open seasonally), lighted tennis courts and access to the beautiful ocean front golf course at the Ritz Carlton (at significant discounts to standard greens fees). Amenity card fee $112 plus tax.
This unit allows dogs under 30 pounds.
This unit has one assigned parking space and allows up to 2 vehicles.

The property manager was very helpful.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
I was very happy with the location.
I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

The Sailmaker location is wonderful, a beautiful drive in, and close to everything. The walk to the pool and beach are very close and convenient. Overall the neighborhood is quiet and comfortable. However the condo itself was disappointing, it appears that its not being well taken care of: drawers falling out, dripping faucets, the top of the fridge has never been wiped, the washing machine is covered in crumbs, rings in the shower from old items sitting, toilet rolls falling off the wall, and a big leak in the main shower that appears to have caused loose tiles on the floor, moving the blinds made my fingers black. None of the TV's were plugged in, we had to wire them into the wall to turn them on. I wish this was better cared for, it's a shame that we can't consider this again.
