Ella Trail Luxury Villa

We had a great stay at Ella Trail Luxury Villa! The room was absolutely gorgeous and beautifully decorated, with breathtaking views of the surrounding lush greenery—the ideal place to disconnect and relax. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, and the breakfast was delicious every morning.

The only downside is the location. It’s not in the town center, so while they do offer a tuk-tuk service down to the main road, getting back at night after dinner can be tricky. Because the hotel is up in a remote mountain area, it can be hard to find a local driver willing to take you back after dark. It’s definitely something to keep in mind when planning your stay.

I never enjoyed any stay more than this one. It was so soul soothing, aesthetic and beautiful. That peaceful vibe, the aroma in the room, beautiful decoration pieces, crockery, even bathroom accessories were so aesthetic. Views from the terrace and that overview of train track, the cross air which made me feel so calm and good, birds coming and chirping there, the sound of water. It was like a treat. I stayed there on full moon night, and got to see it directly from my terrace. It was such a sight to watch. And the breakfast, food and hospitality were next level. Superb. Asanka and there was another guy, they were so sweet, helpful and accommodating. Picked me from Ella station and also offered the rides to roam around the city. Gave me top notch service overall. The stay was so good that it was really hard for me to leave.

Nothing was all fab

The setting of the hotel is beautiful - all rooms have lovely green views. The rooms themselves were clean and modern, spacious in size. The staff were very attentive and accommodative, with easy communication through WhatsApp. The breakfast was tasty, as was the food for dinner which we had in 2/3 nights.

The location is somewhat difficult to get to, but they have a tuk tuk (small fee) which can help you out as some cars may struggle to get all the way there. We used the tuk tuk to get into and back from Ella no problem with help from the staff.
