The homestay was right in the heart of Madikeri, which was awesome. It’s super close to Raja's Seat and food places are within walking distance. The owner welcomed us warmly and was helpful in guiding us about nearby tourist attractions, which we appreciated. Views from the place is really good.

⭐⭐⭐ A mixed experience – room for improvement There were several shortcomings during our stay. The listing mentioned amenities such as car parking and EV charging, but neither was available as expected. Parking had to be arranged outside the property, with no parking space within the premises. Although advertised as a two-bedroom house, there was no kitchen inside the house. The kitchen was accessible only through a common area on the ground floor, which was inconvenient. Even drinking water had to be fetched from the kitchen on the ground floor, rather than being conveniently available within the house. There were also no wardrobes to store our belongings, and the towels and blankets had an unpleasant smell. Considering these issues and the price charged, the overall experience did not offer good value for money. The property has potential, but the amenities should be accurately listed, and cleanliness and basic guest comforts need significant improvement.
