À propos de cette location de vacances

Summary:

Picture this: steam rises off the private hot tub as dusk settles over the ridge, and if you're lucky, a bear strolls through the trees just below your deck. Inside, a stone fireplace crackles while string lights glow through the windows. This wood-lined Gatlinburg cabin trades the crowds for an secluded tranquil setting — two king suites, a full kitchen, and real quiet, just five miles from town, a world away from it.

The Space:

You'll feel the shift the moment you step inside — vaulted wood ceilings, a stone fireplace anchoring the great room, windows framing nothing but trees. This is a real Smoky Mountain cabin, run by a team that knows how to make wood-lined feel warm, not dark.

The great room is where everyone ends up: a full sofa and two rocking chairs face the fireplace and a smart TV, and a window nook with rocking chairs is prime real estate for coffee-and-bear-watching mornings. Just off it, a wood-paneled loft holds a tabletop cabinet stocked with 60 classic arcade games — the rainy-day fix that turns "what do we do now" into "one more round."

The kitchen is built for a real meal, not just cereal. Granite counters, an L-shaped layout, stainless appliances, and cooking basics mean breakfast for six without a grocery run. A coffee corner keeps a Keurig and creamer stocked. The rustic dining table seats the whole group for cards or a slow dinner after the trail.

Two king bedrooms give every couple their own retreat. The main-level suite is zero-step from parking — genuinely ADA-friendly — with its own smart TV and en-suite bath. Upstairs, a second king bed sits above the living space, with a mounted TV and a full-length mirror. A queen sleeper sofa adds a third sleeping option, so nobody ends up on an air mattress.

Both bathrooms are stocked with shampoo, conditioner, soap, and a hair dryer, and a stacked washer dryer in its own nook means you can pack light.

Outside, the real draw reveals itself: a covered deck with a private hot tub, ringed by wooded views and warm cafe lights, rocking chairs close enough to reach your drink without getting up. Autumn turns the deck gold and red; summer nights bring a quiet you forget exists. A charcoal grill rounds it out, and fast wifi with a workspace lets you answer one last email before the woods take over.

LOCATION & WHAT'S NEARBY

Mystical Mornings sits in the trees just outside Gatlinburg — practical and private, with the kind of quiet you only get a few miles off the main road. Bears really do pass through; guests see them regularly (keep car doors locked — they're surprisingly good at opening unlocked ones).

Rocky Top Sports World is a 2-minute drive, one of the closest stays to the tournament venue. The Greenbrier entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is 10 minutes away, with swimming holes and hiking trails quieter than the main gateways. Emert's Cove Historic Covered Bridge is a 5-minute photo stop, and the Arts & Crafts Community loop is worth an afternoon of local studios.

Downtown Gatlinburg's parkway is less than 8 minutes for restaurants, shops, and the Space Needle. Ripley's Aquarium and the Ober Gatlinburg tramway are both about 10 minutes out; Newfound Gap Road, the park's main gateway, is 15 minutes. Pigeon Forge is 20 minutes, Dollywood is 25, and Cades Cove is about 55 minutes for a full-day drive.

Close enough for a spontaneous dinner in town, quiet enough you'll forget it's five miles away once you're back on the deck.

WHO THIS HOME IS BEST FOR

Families with young kids: the main-level king bedroom has zero steps from parking to bed, and between the arcade games, hot tub, and bear sightings, "we're bored" never really comes up. This is a genuinely family friendly cabin.

Multigenerational groups get real privacy — two king suites, each with its own bath and TV — plus a queen sleeper so nobody's on an air mattress.

Couples wanting a romantic escape: a private hot tub, string lights, and a fireplace for colder months. It's quiet, and there's nowhere else to be.

Remote workers extending the trip: fast wifi and a workspace mean you log off at 5, minutes from the hot tub.

Tournament families around Rocky Top Sports World: this cabin sits closer to the venue than almost anything downtown.

GUEST ACCESS

Check-in is fully contactless — you'll get your individual door code by text an hour before your stay, no lockbox, no front-desk line, and no self check-in kiosk to hunt for. The main level, including one king bedroom and its bath, is zero-step from your own private entrance — genuinely ADA-friendly. The living room, kitchen, dining area, and deck are all accessible without stairs; only the upstairs king bedroom requires a flight up.

PARKING

Two vehicles fit comfortably on the level, paved area at the cabin's entrance — no shuttle, no shared lot, and no permit to display. It's flat from pavement to front door, so unloading coolers and luggage is painless. There's no overflow space, so groups with more vehicles should consolidate or check with the host first.
