Great location—quiet and clean.

only there for a week but it was nice and got to enjoy some well needed family time. only thing my daughters was really curious about was the car that was parked out front on the curb the whole time we was there. but will definitely look at that place again in the future.

We stayed at the property from July 16-19, 2026. The home is spacious. It is located in a quiet, older well manicured neighborhood with driveway and street parking. The 4 bedrooms are a good size. There is a bathroom with a shower downstairs and a bathroom with a full tub and double sinks upstairs. Both are in great working order. There are plenty of towels and linen.There is a dining room and a “game” room making 2 eating areas, a fully stocked kitchen with new or updated appliances and a laundry area with washer and dryer. Both laundry appliances are in great working order. The laundry area has an iron, steamer, ironing board and ample space to fold laundry. It is well lit, tidy and clean. Be careful entering this area because the step down is steep. The light stays on in this area maybe for this reason. The home is 8 minutes from Buckroe Beach. We preferred this beach over Virginia Beach. Upon entering the front door, the smell of “old house” was prominent. That, coupled with stains on the rug, bedroom ceiling and other furniture along with less than clean handrails, made us uncomfortable. The home was neat but needs a deep cleaning. Some of the window blinds are broken or don’t close well. All of these items are easy fixes. Overall, the house served us well. We enjoyed our stay. The Bowman Family
