Black Rocks Family Beach Resort

Black Rocks is a short walk along the beach from the main centre of Agios Gordios, where there is plenty of choice of great restaurants and handy supermarkets. And, it's far enough that there aren't many people passing by. The room was beautifully presented, very modern in decor, and extremely clean. It looks out onto a spacious private balcony that faces directly out to sea, so that you can listen to the sound of the waves (if you wish: the double-glazed door provided super acoustic insulation on the nights we wanted a little more quiet). The hosts were extremely friendly and helpful, and we were picked up at the point our taxi dropped us off, for a short ride to the hotel. Same on departure. Breakfast every morning was a delight, too.

There is nothing we didn't like about Black Rocks.

Stunning location directly on the seafront with a beautiful secluded beach on one side of the hotel and the main beach and resort the other way. A 10 minute easy stroll along the boardwalk into the town where you will find plenty of nice bars , restaurants and several supermarkets. The Hotel restaurant was our favourite in the resort. Not only was the location stunning overlooking the sea , the food was excellent and reasonably priced . The family are all lovely and helpful arranging transfers and pick up from the main road in a 4 wheel drive . The ride down the mountain road was a great start to the week and great fun . The room was new ,decorated and finished to a very high standard with walk in shower , comfortable beds and good aircon. We would definitely stop here again and would highly recommend it to friends and family. Thanks to Makis and Spiros for looking after us and to your mother for the wonderful food.

Allein die Anfahrt ist schon spektakulär, der unverbaute Blick auf das offene blaue Meer mit dem Blick auf die Black Rocks sorgen für einen weiteren Woww-Effekt. Die Zimmer sind super sauber und stilvoll eingerichtet (mit Blick auf das Meer inkl.Meeresrauschen in der Nacht). Das außergewöhnlich leckere Frühstück haben wir, in dem dazugehörigen Restaurant, morgens unter freiem Himmel genießen können. Ebenso haben wir abends dort köstlich gegessen und getrunken (inkl. Sonnenuntergang). Der Sandstrand ist in in wenigen Schritten zu erreichen. Liegen & 🏖️ sind vorhanden! Lieber Makis und Familie! Wir sagen Danke für diesen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Wir hatten einen wunderschönen und rundum erholsamen Aufenthalt. Das Hotel liegt sehr ruhig am Ortsrand, direkt am Meer – perfekt, um abzuschalten und zur Ruhe zu kommen. Die Anreise mit dem Auto ist bis zum Hotel nicht möglich. Dafür wird das Gepäck kostenlos vom Parkplatz zum Hotel gebracht, was hervorragend funktioniert hat. Das Hotel selbst erreicht man zu Fuß über Holzstege entlang des Strandes. Das Hotel ist familiengeführt und man fühlt sich vom ersten Moment an herzlich willkommen. Alle waren ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend. Die familiäre Atmosphäre hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Unser Zimmer war stil- und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und hatte einen großen Balkon mit Blick auf das Meer. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichlich. Es wird auf der Restaurant-Terrasse direkt am Meer serviert – schöner kann ein Urlaubstag nicht beginnen. Von der Terrasse aus lässt sich abends auch der Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Speisekarte des Restaurants bietet eine große Auswahl und es hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Insgesamt ein wunderschöner Aufenthalt an einem ganz besonderen Ort. Für alle, die Ruhe, Meer und eine herzliche Atmosphäre suchen, können wir das Hotel absolut empfehlen. Wir haben uns sofort wohl und willkommen gefühlt und wären gerne noch länger geblieben.
