I cannot find fault at all with Maison Indigo. I travelled alone for the Cheltenham Lit Fest and it was absolutely perfect. The room was immaculate with plenty of storage, a desk and chair, well lit and a very comfortable bed. Although the bathroom was shared it was also immaculate and with only three rooms there was never a wait for the bathroom. I only used the kitchen for breakfast but there was plenty of fridge space and a full equipped kitchen if you wanted to cook more. Location was ideal, only a short walk to the centre of town and to the bus stop if you wanted to go further afield (direct 10 minute bus to the station).

I was greeted by the owner who was extremely helpful, polite and friendly. He took my bags in for me ahead of check in, because I arrived very early. I was given a tour of all the facilities too. I will definitely be returning.

The host is very friendly and responsive. Immediately replies to queries on booking.com and is proactive in providing details before check-in. The guesthouse and room is well-maintained. I feel very safe and the environment feels homely, stress-free and super stylish. It makes Cheltenham a more wonderful place to visit with a nice room in mind to go back to.

Posizione centrale, ideale come base per spostarsi coi bus verso i villaggi delle Cotswolds o verso Bath e Oxford. É anche ben collegato con la stazione tramite la linea D che impiega 7 minuti. La camera e i bagni e gli spazi in comune sono pulitissimi. Nonostante i bagni siano condivisi non è stato un peso proprio perché erano regolarmente puliti e la presenza di un secondo bagno al piano terra è stato molto utile. La cucina era attrezzata con caffè (tra cui cialde nescaffé che da brava italiana ho apprezzato moltissimo!), tè e tisane messe a disposizione per gli ospiti, per il resto era disponibile da usare anche la cucina e il frigorifero, anche se noi non ne abbiamo usufruito perché siamo usciti a mangiare quasi tutti i giorni visto che l'alloggio si trova proprio in una via principale con tanti caffé e ristoranti.

Unico difetto, la camera in cui alloggiavamo dava sulla strada e le finestre non sono esattamente insonorizzate, ma per il rapporto qualità prezzo è più che sopportabile.
